SWING BAND MILANO

The Swing Band Milano offers a repertoire of great national and international classics from the 1950s and 1960s, those that could be heard in juke boxes between the cafes of the Nice Promenade or the Spanish Steps on the Cannes Croisette along the The Saint-Tropez bay or sipping an apéritif in the square of Valbonne or the Piper in Rome. Suggestive atmospheres with the flavor of other times among the most famous songs of unforgettable performers; From Yves Montand to Mina, Dalida to Frank Sinatra, Charles Aznavour to Patty Pravo and Ornella Vanoni.  

The ensemble consists of 5 musicians. It is possible to extend the band by hosting other musicians. The Band also performs in a reduced ensemble as a quartet without drums or a trio (voice, sax and guitar).  

The repertoire is focused on French music, but we also have a good number of songs in English and Italian. The style is always swing and bossa-nova. We accept special requests. The repertoire is about 3 hours. We have sound systems suitable for any situation. The required space is 4 x 4 m. The only thing needed on site is a normal power outlet. We have the ability to set up 2 different locations in the same location if required. To set up our workstation we need 30/45 mins of time. We can make transfers during the evening. For 5 years we have been playing in venues for prestigious corporate events, restaurants, private parties, weddings. We attended events at Montecarlo, Nice, Cap D'Antibes, Milano, Roma, Portofino, Brescia, Torino, Como, Varese, Riva del Garda, Cremona and other small centers.
