Italian wedding eastern music band
Mi Linda Dama is a formation that explores the Sephardic musical tradition. During the Middle Ages in the Iberian Peninsula Sephardic Jews lived together with Christians and Arab Muslims. In their songs, passed down orally from generation to generation, converged so different cultures, in which the Jewish stories merged with Hispanic melodies and Arab / Andalusian rhythms, creating a rich musical texture. The lyrics tell timeless stories; often emerges love in its pinnacles of passion and pain, sometimes the tones are more delicate and peeps the daily life of a village between parties, gossip among neighbors, amorous escapades.

Namritha Nori sings these stories in their traditional language, judezmo, similar to an old Catalan, without forgetting to introduce the listener into their meanings and atmospheres.
The musical richness of the repertoire is enhanced by eclectic musicians: Giulio Gavardi alongside the guitar two instruments of the Middle Eastern tradition as the saz and oud; Niccolò Giuliani gives rhythmic lymph to the pieces with the darbuka, the cajon and the typical frame drums in the Arab tradition.
