At the end of the decade, the great successes achieved by L. Battisti marked the definitive break with the tradition of 'bel canto'. Since the early 1970s, the song writing received new impetus from the American folk revival and the student movements of contestation. Since the last decade of the last century the production of songwriters has been characterized by increased attention when stylistic-musical
